Felting classes are available by request. With everyone's busy summer schedule, it's easier to plan classes this way. Esther will be glad to schedule a class for you and your friends, or you individually. Kids classes are also available!

Most classes are $20/person. Some classes (nuno felting, some purse classes also have a materials fee.)

LEARN TO KNIT- learn the basics while making a scarf. Class fee $15 (materials list with registration)

BEADED WRIST WARMERS- make a pair of beautiful wrist warmers while learning how to knit with beads! Class fee $15 (materials list with registration)

SCARF OF MANY COLORS- learn the techniques for knitting a multi-colored scarf with i-chord fringe. Class fee $15 (materials list with registration)

Silk Magic Scarf Class

Fee: $20 (includes materials)

Bring your knitting needles and settle in for a fun and informative visit with Arlene. Discover what's in a cocoon and how you can transform it into a beautiful, one-of-a-kind silk scarf. Experience the unique satisfaction of making your own yarn and then showcasing it in a a handmade work of art.

Additional scarf kits in a variety of beautiful colors are available for $15 at the shop.

Be sure to ask about new, larger scarf kits for either crochet or for knitters who would like a bulkier, wider, or longer scarf.

Arlene Graham's Fiberworks is the destination for handspun yarns, fibers, spinning wheels, knitting supplies, books, and fiber arts workshops in the greater Dayton area.

Fiberworks is located at 4013 Dayton-Xenia Road in Beavercreek, Ohio.

Our hours on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday are 1-6 pm. We are open from 1-9 pm on Thursdays and 1-5 pm on Sundays. On Saturdays the shop is open by appointment only; please call 937-231-2768 to make arrangements.
